Adidas Originals House Party

2009 marked the 60th anniversary of the iconic adidas Originals brand and adidas wanted to celebrate it loudly and effectively with a partner that could match their brand values and deliver in communicating their key message.

Using the strap line Celebrate Originality, the campaign was set against the backdrop of a house party hosting a mix of famous names from music, fashion and sport.

With extensive knowledge and understanding of the youth market and a reputation for always putting on a memorable ‘experience’ MTV were briefed to bring to life the adidas Originals campaign.

This audience needed to be targeted with an exciting ‘event’ brought to them in bite-size messages that would help them understand the Originals brand, react to the campaign and have a reason for sharing it with their friends.

The idea was simple; whet the audience’s appetite by inviting them to win a chance to design their own adidas/MTV House Party in their town, for them and 60 friends.
