Comedy Central showcases the best in US and UK comedy and is the only all-comedy network. Outside the US and UK, Comedy Central has local versions in seven territories: Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Sweden and New Zealand. The channel attracts an 18-49 year-old audience, 79% of whom are ABC1.

Comedy Central features a mix of original programming, stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, classic TV shows and movies and has achieved the highest ever performances for its shows Two And A Half Men, The Sarah Silverman Program, South Park and Steve Carrell’s The Office. The channel also screens brand new episodes of South Park two days after their first showing in the US and became the UK home of 30 Rock in October 2009, gaining the biggest ever UK audience for the multi award-winning show.

The channel also features live comedy specials from big name stand ups such as Michael McIntyre, Dara O’Briain and Lee Evans, as well as movies starring big screen comedy giants including Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Billy Crystal and Adam Sandler.
